FinancED's Teaching Resources

Below, we have created an introductory curriculum to help your FinancED branch get started. The topics cover basic financial literacy skills, from budgeting and saving to an introduction to sustainable investing. We recommend supplementing this curriculum with interactive activities like budgeting simulations and Shark-Tank investment challenges. We highly recommend incorporating resources from organizations like Khan Academy and Next Gen Personal Finance (NGPF).

Try to cover the basics of budgeting and saving. The workshop could be followed by an interactive activity where students can create a simple budget or participate in a shark-tank themed activity to pitch what they've learned.
